Citing “Russian aggression,” Orbakaite’s concert was canceled in Kyiv
The concert of the Russian singer Kristina Orbakaite, which was supposed to take place on March 6 at the Kiev Ukraina Palace, was cancelled. However, the concert is planned to be held again later - in the fall of this year.

“Being in conditions of external military aggression and taking into account the general public outrage that arises due to the possible holding of concerts by artists whose creative activities are connected with the aggressor country - the Russian Federation, the administration of the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine” reports that the organizers of the planned On March 6, 2017, Kristina Orbakaite’s concert is being postponed to September 26, 2017,” the message says.
Orbakaite intended to give an anniversary concert at the Ukraina Palace. The cost of tickets reached 2750 hryvnia, and almost all of them had already been purchased. However, nationalists launched a boycott and threats against the concert.
