Thus, it recently became known that the company was suspended by the World Bank for 22,5 years from participating in projects and tenders that it and its partners finance.
“An investigation conducted by the Vice President for Integration of the World Bank revealed that Inkom paid bribes and participated in corrupt practices by prior conspiracy in a case involving a tender for three IT contracts, with a combined value of $43 million, from a project to modernize the social security system. support,” the World Bank said in a statement. Inkom was also suspended for “numerous attempts to interfere with the investigation.”
