Deputy Chief of the General Staff Sergei Rudskoy spoke about this today at a briefing at the Russian Ministry of Defense, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The state will take over all decisions to support families, raising children up to higher education, full repayment of loans, solving the housing issue,” Rudskoy said.
He noted that a large number of requests are being received from Russian citizens who want to take part in a special military operation to liberate Ukraine from Nazism. More than 23 thousand foreign citizens from 37 states expressed their readiness to fight on the side of the people's republics.
“We offered the leadership of the LPR and DPR to accept this help, but they said that they would defend their land themselves. They have enough strength and means,” Rudskoy noted.
