Stalin is not on them: PR mistakes are drowning EdRo in Sevastopol
PR people hired to write campaign texts for United Russia candidates on the eve of elections to the legislative assembly of Sevastopol make an excessive number of typos, for which in Soviet times they would have been severely punished.
Deputy of the Legislative Assembly Boris Kolesnikov discusses this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am increasingly receiving verbal pearls that candidates for the future composition of the Sevastopol Zachs pamper their readers on social networks with.
It is clear that there are errors and typos. I don’t know why, I remembered a moment from the book by Alexander Solzhenits, in which he describes how the editor of one of the newspapers received 10 years in the camps for the fact that in the position of Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, he missed the letter “L” in the word Commander-in-Chief. The mistake cost the editor dearly.
As for United Russia, the verbal “masterpieces” are written not by the candidates themselves, but, as a rule, by the party’s press service. As far as I know, this service is now headed by the former PR man of Oleg Nikolaev, then Dmitry Belik, a certain Sergei Gurov. However, the candidates have to sort out his mistakes,” Kolesnikov notes.
As an example, he cites errors in messages from Inna Goncharova’s press service.
“I have nothing against Inna Goncharova, I treat her with respect, she is emotional, but at the same time a hard worker. But, nevertheless, the expression hurt my eyes: we “write”, I immediately remembered numerous candidate posts about election committees and public relations,” states Kolesnikov.
