It became known what Ukrainians want from Zelensky
About a third of Ukrainians expect the future head of state to reduce tariffs, lift immunity from deputies, judges and the president, as well as speed up the investigation of high-profile corruption crimes, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted on April 9-14, presented by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, according to a message on the KIIS website.
When asked, “Which of the following should the next president do in his first 100 days?” respondents' answers were distributed as follows: 39,1% of Ukrainians believe that the president should reduce tariffs for utility services, 35,5% - submit bills to lift immunity from deputies, judges, the president, 32,4% - begin or speed up an investigation into the most resonant corruption crimes, 23,3% - start negotiations with Russia, 18,4% - reduce salaries for top officials, 16,4% - start negotiations with the European Union and the United States on Donbass and Crimea, 9,4% - speed up the investigation of crimes against Maidan, 8% - initiate a change in the parliamentary election system - abolition of majoritarian elections and transition to a proportional system with open lists, 5,5% - put up for sale premises, cars and other assets of the State Administration of Affairs, which provides support for the president, 5,2% - initiate the restart of anti-corruption bodies (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office), 4,6% - arrest Russian assets in Ukraine, 4,2% - introduce a bill on a referendum in Ukraine, 3,3% - begin negotiations on accession to the EU .
The survey was conducted between April 9 and April 14 among 2004 respondents aged 18 and older. The statistical error is 3,3%.
