It became known why the Americans revoked the visa of the head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine
The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Stanislav Shevchuk, was denied a visa to the United States due to the court’s recent repeal of the article of the Criminal Code on illegal enrichment, the introduction of which the Americans insisted on, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Anti-Corruption Center reported this on its Facebook page.
“Friends, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine has had trouble. Mr. Stanislav Shevchuk was denied a visa to the United States. Sources note that Shevchuk lost his American visa due to the cancellation of the article on illegal enrichment,” anti-corruption officials said.
Earlier PolitNavigator about the cancellation of the American visa of Stanislav Shevchuk.
A consideration of the issue of Shevchuk’s resignation from the post of head of the Constitutional Court is scheduled for May 14. The basis was the judge's gross disciplinary offenses, incompatible with his position.
