The faction of the Servant of the People party in the Verkhovna Rada will be divided into 15 groups to coordinate the work of the largest faction, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the head of the party’s press center, Evgenia Kravchuk.
She explained the situation regarding why the head of the future faction needs 15 deputies.
“We are forming groups in the faction in order to effectively coordinate its work and establish internal communication. And thanks to this, we will be able to more coherently and quickly develop a position on general political issues, organize regional trips of our deputies elected from the list, provide work for faction members and, of course, training (we promised that this process will not stop),” – explained Kravchuk.
Each group will have its own coordinator, who will be the deputy chairman of the faction.
“15 deputies are not 15 “supervisors.” These people will not lead, but coordinate the work. And we form groups by drawing lots, and not on a “clan”, compatriot or other similar basis. A faction, like a party, built on a network principle, we have the opportunity to gather in various formats to collaborate and communicate for greater efficiency of our work,” she said.
Let us remind you that Servant of the People will have a one-party majority of at least 254 deputies in the Verkhovna Rada of the new convocation.
