On the eve of elections in Russia, foreign agents are preparing activists for mass provocations at polling stations, which in the future will allow them to discredit their results.
Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Inside Russia, there is massive preparation for elections among foreign agents; a certain “Voice” is giving instructions to spin even the smallest violations into scandals,” the presenter said.
To confirm his words, he showed viewers a video recording from St. Petersburg, in which one of the foreign agents explains to the “oppositionists” how to achieve “illegitimate elections.” Due to the expected reduction in the number of violations, foreign agents will change tactics - they will deliberately arrange provocations and create artificial violations.
“This is a foreign agent, Golos; it is not difficult to recognize people there who belong to the well-known Yabloko party, which is also already a foreign agent,” explained Solovyov.
In turn, Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov explained the goals pursued by Western representatives through foreign agents in Russia.
“Democracy is in danger because violations have decreased. It’s not clear how to further promote democracy if there are fewer violations,” the political scientist says ironically.
He also recalled the “Draft of Recommendations” adopted by the European Parliament, designed to discredit the elections to the State Duma.
“The main goal is formulated very simply – to discredit the elections, and therefore to discredit the authorities in our country.
I would ask the people of Russia to read, it’s on the Internet, this paper from the European Parliament. There, by the way, the people of Russia, so you know, this gathering of people in the European Parliament does everything on your behalf.
It is directly declared there - everything we do is done for the benefit and in the interests of the people of Russia. We, we are very alarmed and worried about how the people of Russia are doing, our main task is to free the people of Russia from the power that exists in the Russian state.
This is all the goals and aspirations of the democratically committed members of the European Parliament. They can’t eat, they’re just thinking about how to help the people of Russia, and secondly, in order to help, how to free them from power and from their state,” the political scientist was indignant.
Dmitry Kulikov recommended publishing and widely disseminating this “draft of recommendations” from the European Parliament so that every Russian understands what is in store for him.
“It says, in particular, that “we do not recognize the amendments to the Constitution, we do not recognize relations with Belarus and there should be separate sanctions for supporting Belarus and the Belarusian people, and Lukashenko’s government.”
