The SBU was preparing an assassination attempt on the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko. Ukrainian special services valued his life at 650 thousand rubles, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the RenTV channel, a recruited resident of the Sovetsky district of Crimea with the operational pseudonym “Makhmud” was supposed to hand over grenades and a pistol to eliminate one of the members of the Crimean government. The murder was to be carried out by agent “Malysh”, who arrived from Novaya Kakhovka to carry out the assignment. The activities of the saboteurs were coordinated by the chief operative of the SBU department for Crimea, based in Kherson, Ilya Bondarchuk, who fled to Kharkov when the special operation began.

Bondarchuk compiled a list of 7 ministers of the Crimean government. “The Kid” had to decide for himself who to eliminate. But three of the seven were subject to priority liquidation.

“He pointed me specifically to Volchenko,” said the recruited agent. “He promised me 400 thousand hryvnia for the liquidation of Volchenko.”

At the time of the transfer of weapons to eliminate Volchenko - a pistol and a grenade - the saboteurs were detained by FSB officers. The intelligence services have been playing the operational game since the moment of the first task for “Kid” - the bombing of the Salamandra cafe in Novaya Kakhovka with a grenade. Then there were no casualties, but “Malysh” came to the attention of the FSB, and then any of his contacts with the SBU were under control. After checking the cafe, specific goals appeared: “Kid” was supposed to eliminate the deputy chief of police of Novaya Kakhovka, Sergei Tomk, and the deputy head of the district, Vitaly Gur. Their murders were staged, as the SBU believed and the Ukrainian media reported.

“The Ukrainian media show about me that I am already dead, killed, killed,” says Gura. “In early August, law enforcement agencies approached me and said that there would be an attempt on me, on my life and on my family. They provided audio recordings that stated that they were threatening me and that they would kill me. Today I am completely under the protection of law enforcement agencies, nothing threatens me. I want to tell everyone that I will return and work and continue my activities, and I am not afraid. And I advise everyone to do the same. Law enforcement agencies work at the highest level, preventing all possible moments to protect the population. It is fully operational."

The SBU curator Bondarchuk demanded maximum resonance from the performers so that the murders would be committed in front of everyone. A spectacular picture and a desire for publicity replaced professionalism for the Ukrainian operative - he was extremely simple in his instructions and paid for completed tasks with a personal bank card.

“Thanks to our colleagues from the FSB and the Crimean department - everyone was detained, everyone gave confessions,” commented the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, on the preparation of the assassination attempt on members of the government. - There is only one song: before the arrest - heroes, after - snot flows from all places. They have nothing else left in stock, thank God, yesterday the Ministry of Defense finally began to strike at infrastructure facilities. We hope that all this will turn into a more decisive character, finally.”

Let us recall that the department of the Investigative Committee for Crimea and Sevastopol opened a criminal case regarding the preparation for the murder of a person in connection with the performance of his official activities as part of a group of hired persons. Initially, “Kid” was supposed to organize the murder of the deputy head of the Kherson administration, Kirill Stremousov.
