“Do you often visit Irpen? Are you going to the police? And don’t you see hundreds of closed industries? I don't understand how anyone can look at this calmly. Hundreds of closed proceedings with absurd grounds. If the Prosecutor General’s Office does everything, then the local prosecutor’s offices will deal with cholera, explain to me?” Lutsenko said.
According to him, Irpen is the point of “local Chicago”, which the Ukrainian media write about as a combination of criminals with “ruling bribe takers”.
“Everyone knows about it. Don't you see hundreds of closed industries? I’ll see what happens at the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors,” the Prosecutor General concluded, addressing the leadership of the Kiev-Svyatoshin Prosecutor’s Office.
