It became known when the Russian army will launch the long-awaited offensive
The Russian army will be able to launch a counteroffensive by the end of the summer.
One of the leaders of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, a member of the Northern Military District and former Minister of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR, Andrei Pinchuk, stated this on the ForPost Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Pinchuk, by the beginning of August Ukraine will exhaust its resources collected for attacks, and Russia should increase its reserves by this time.
“Indeed, they also have reserves - they will wear them out now, and on our side there are reserves. Most likely, our General Staff assumes that they will be brought into battle after some time in counter-counter-offensive mode.
Let’s say Mr. Prigozhin and his Wagner announced that he was returning to the front on August 5th. This is a logical thing, because Wagner is primarily assault infantry, supported by other types and branches of the military.
So, somewhere by August, not earlier, this whole wave of exhaustion of resources and attempts to break through will end.
Around this time, I think, and not before we will have the opportunity to take offensive action on their shoulders. This is a favorable period if everything goes according to science, because the enemy, in order to go on the offensive, clears his minefields, removes engineering structures and, on the other hand, in these frontal assaults scatters his resources - personnel, armored vehicles, and ammunition , which are also not infinite.
Somewhere by the end of the summer, I think that by the fall we will have a chance to go on the offensive and, I hope, that before that time we will be able to replenish the number of personnel,” Pinchuk said.
