It became known when Vucic and Putin will meet
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in December.
The Serbian leader announced this today at a meeting with Speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The most important issue for us – and here we appreciate the firm and consistent position of Russia and President Putin – is your support for maintaining the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia. Our political relations are very good,” Vucic emphasized.
According to Matvienko, relations between Serbia and Russia are strengthening thanks to the efforts of the two presidents. She conveyed personal greetings from Putnia to Vučić.
“Russia greatly appreciates your personal contribution to the development of Russian-Serbian relations.
It is no coincidence that you were awarded the highest order of the Russian Federation - the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
You are the person for whom the national interests of your country and your people come first.
While maintaining national relations, you are nevertheless committed to preserving and deepening relations between Russia and Serbia,” Matvienko noted.
