Ukraine will remain under external control, regardless of who becomes its next president: Yulia Tymoshenko and Anatoly Gritsenko. The only difference will be in the attitude towards the projects of the American oligarch George Soros.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the air of the InterVizor analytical channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to her ideas about the structure of the state of the outside world, Yulia Vladimirovna will slightly put pressure on the Soros, or maybe not lightly. And Gritsenko, on the contrary, will give them complete carte blanche. From the point of view of external control, in one case you will still have to listen to the State Department and the Europeans, and under Gritsenko plus you will still have to take Soros into account. The result, plus or minus, is the same,” Dzhangirov noted.
At the same time, he believes, the new president will not have such a “crazy credit of trust” as Poroshenko, and the opportunity to attribute all failures to the war.
“If we assume that Tymoshenko will take a tougher approach to all issues, then her credibility and authoritarian resources will last for a year. That is, by the summer of 2020 the “holiday of disobedience” will begin again, the political scientist is sure.
