A special naval brigade will be created in the Russian Guard to guard the Crimean Bridge. The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian National Guard, Viktor Zolotov, announced this today at a meeting of the Federation Council, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.

“In order to solve the tasks assigned to the Russian Guard to ensure the safety of the bridge crossing across the Kerch Strait in the newly created Southern Military District, a new formation will have to be formed - a naval brigade,” Zolotov said.
He also said that reserves have been found to strengthen the staff of the territorial bodies of the Russian Guard, the number of which has increased by an average of a third.
