“We decided to strengthen and expand coordination of actions between the United States and Russia on Syria issues. Continuing the agreements that were reached in Helsinki, my colleague, the Secretary of National Security, and I agreed that Russia and the United States will cooperate on issues of combating terrorism. This work will be at the level of the US Deputy Secretary of State and the Russian Foreign Minister. The first meeting will take place in December this year. Issues of combating terrorism will be discussed. In the future, this work will be expanded, issues of drug and human trafficking will be discussed. We also agreed that the first meeting of the joint business council will be held,” he said.
According to him, he also touched on topics such as the INF treaty and the US elections.
“We have expressed concerns about Russian interference in the US elections,” he said.
