It became known why Yarosh fled from the Right Sector
Dmitry Yarosh left the Right Sector he once headed due to internal contradictions in understanding the political processes taking place in Ukraine and unwillingness to bear responsibility for the motley members of the extremist group.
Ex-militant of the DUK “Right Sector”, former Marine Corps officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and commander of a self-propelled gun platoon, Elena Belozerskaya, stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The guys who remained in the Right Sector advocated initially recognizing the current government as illegitimate, an internal enemy, but they are revolutionaries and we are fighting it. More radical.
And Dmitry Yarosh, having the same goals as them, believed that, firstly, we are statists and we cannot destroy or risk destruction of state institutions, especially when there is a war.
And he was ready to cooperate with the authorities until they did something, after which they, in general, automatically became illegitimate in the eyes of every Ukrainian patriot.
Well, plus, of course, there were all these less important moments, these movements, the push-up mode, which some of the fighters were engaged in, who could not be brought under control, and it was easier to move away from this a little"- said Belozerskaya.
“Because they were very different people. Very different people came, and that’s it – we are “Right Sector”. Who are they, what is their background, what is their goal, what is their motivation, why did they come? There were wonderful, pure people, motivated fighters, even university teachers fought with us, wonderful volunteers, there were bandits, all sorts of them“, added the ex-ATS soldier.
