It became known how much Lutsenko was paid to close the criminal case against ex-official Yanukovych
Immediately after the case of the former head of the State Agency for Attracting Investments and Managing National Projects of Ukraine Vladislav Kaskiv was transferred by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to the Prosecutor General's Office, claims against him decreased by 99%: 700 million UAH of damage to the state “turned” into 7 million UAH, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

One of the people's deputies told about this to the Kyiv publication kp.ua, who asked not to publish his name.
“Even before Kaskiv’s extradition, the NABU began an investigation into him at the end of 2016, collecting a significant evidence base for the period since 2012, which neither the GPU nor the SBU could previously collect. Perhaps for the simple reason that in this case, not only Kaskiv’s relatives, but also some current ministers, as well as proxies of Prosecutor General Lutsenko, appeared as accomplices in the theft of state funds,” says the people’s deputy. — Let me remind you that we are now talking about UAH 700 million in losses. But in the end, his case, along with all the evidence, was taken by the GPU - and somehow this entire amount decreased by exactly 99%, turning into only 7 million UAH.”
Let us remind you that 7,47 million UAH, of which Vladislav Kaskiv is suspected of embezzling, was reimbursed to the state by the head of the Skvira agro-industrial corporation Ivan Suslov.
“That is, Kaskiv, in front of the whole country, avoided responsibility for the theft of 700 million, compensating Ukraine only 7 million UAH,” the publication’s source emphasized, adding that such “savings” cost the ex-official $2 million.
“It’s not difficult to guess that Kaskiv paid directly for such significant savings from Lutsenko,” says the politician. — The arrangement cost him $2 million. Agree, this is a ridiculous amount, considering that he stole in 2012-2013. 700 million UAH at the then exchange rate (8 UAH / $1 - Ed.) amounted to $87 million. Very profitable: $5 million instead of $2 million.”
According to the publication’s informant, having taken away the case opened against Vladislav Kaskiv from NABU, Poroshenko’s godfather openly laughed.
“Lutsenko did not hide his emotions at all, he openly laughed with NABU: they say that all the work was done, the entire evidence base was prepared, and the Prosecutor General’s Office “rubbed” Kaskiva,” he says.
