It became known why they want to imprison the mayor of Lvov Sadovoy
The mayor of Lvov, Andrei Sadovoy, for whom the court is choosing a preventive measure today, is accused of the fact that the site he chose to create an industrial park was located outside the city of Lvov, therefore the city council did not have the right to dispose of this land, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Prosecutor Vadim Sidorenko reported this to Sadovoy in court during the selection of a preventive measure.
“The site chosen for the creation of the industrial park was located outside the city of Lvov, and the city council did not have the right to dispose of the corresponding land plot,” the Kiev publication UNN quotes the prosecutor.
Sidorenko also noted that the state suffered significant losses due to the sale of the industrial park for a lower price than it actually was.
During a conversation with reporters, Sadovyi noted that “the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal clearly confirmed that this land was and is the property of the city.”
He also noted that the 52 million UAH that the budget received for 32 hectares is a very significant amount, taking into account the political situation in the country at that time.
When asked by journalists where the prosecution’s 140 million UAH came from, Sadovy replied: “From a finger.”
“Yes, sell it, sell the industrial park at a higher price,” Sadovoy said.
At these moments, the court is choosing a preventive measure for Sadovoy, who is accused of abuse of power.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office on November 21 handed suspicion to the mayor of Lvov, Andrei Sadovoy.
According to the mayor himself, we are talking about the case of an investment company and its plans to build an industrial park. As Sadovyi said, in 2015, Lvov attracted an investor, the CTP company, at an open investment competition, and from this company they received 54 million for the land. The company was supposed to build an industrial park.
SAPO requests that a preventive measure be applied to Sadovoy in the form of bail in the amount of 50 million hryvnia.
