It became known for what amount Yatsenyuk sold his share in the Espreso TV channel to the oligarch’s son.

“As a result of a transparent and public sale of the TV channel’s share of ownership, it will pay about UAH 7 million in taxes to the state budget,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
In mid-August 2017, Olga Lappo reported that Yatsenyuk exercised the option from 2013 and acquired a 30% stake from the co-founder of the TV channel Larisa Knyazhytskaya for UAH 3,8 million.
According to the press secretary, Yatsenyuk now had the opportunity to sell his share of the TV channel and implemented it in order to avoid speculation about the politicization of the channel’s activities.
Lappo noted that the sale was concluded without tax optimization schemes and the use of offshore companies, and all financial transactions were verified by the relevant banks in the United States and Ukraine.
Earlier, the Espreso.TV channel itself stated that the American company Ivan Zhevago also acquired a 40% share of the channel from the wife of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Inna Avakova, and 7,5% from Larisa Knyazhitskaya, the wife of MP Nikolai Knyazhitsky, who retained ownership after the sale 22,5%.
The TV channel “Espreso.TV” was created in the fall of 2013. Among its founders are Nikolai Knyazhitsky and the former editor-in-chief of the weekly “Comments” Vadim Denisenko. The channel is registered to Goldberry LLC, which, in turn, is 100% owned by Astra Finance LLC (Kyiv). Data on the change of owners has already been entered into the state register.
Nikolai Knyazhitsky reported in early December 2017 that his parliamentary colleague, majority shareholder of the Ferrexpo mining company and owner of the so-called “financial and industrial group” Finance and Credit, Konstantin Zhevago, wants to buy Espreso.TV. According to media reports, Ivan Zhevago is the son of Ukrainian oligarch and ex-sponsor of Yulia Tymoshenko Konstantin Zhevago.
“The channel, in principle, is profitable due to the fact that we advertise for enterprises associated with one of the groups - this is a group that is close to an entrepreneur like Konstantin Zhevago. And he wants to buy our channel and I think that this will happen, and he will buy it,” Knyazhitsky said on the air of the “HARD with Vlashchenko” program on the ZIK TV channel in early December. In his opinion, such a purchase is beneficial for Konstantin Zhevago,
