It became clear why Poroshenko ended the Tomos tour ahead of schedule
The majority of Kiev residents believe that presentation by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko's Tomos of the Patriarchate of Constantinople on the creation of the OCU is pre-election propaganda.
Kiev journalist Sergei Shcherbina spoke about this on his blog.
“Yesterday, KIIS published a survey of Kyiv residents about their views on recent events. So in the capital, 38,3% believe that trips with Tomos are a means of election campaigning; 13,9% believe that this is more of an election campaign than a popularization of the church; 21% believe that it is both equally; 8,9% – more popularization of the church, and less agitation; 11,2% is simply popularization of the church,” the journalist noted.
He noted that this is all of Ukraine, but nevertheless considers these data indicative.
“This is the second time people don’t believe (the first was with martial law). And why all? But because moderation is not our strong point. It’s imperative that every iron sounds, eight times a day, and in Levitan’s voice,” Shcherbina sneers.
At the same time, the President of Ukraine prematurely ended the so-called Tomos tour of Ukrainian cities, during which attendance was ensured administratively.
