In the Committee on CIS Affairs of the State Duma, deputy Konstantin Zatulin has prepared a package of bills designed to make it easier for compatriots abroad to obtain Russian citizenship.

The main idea is to provide Russian citizenship to native speakers without the mandatory renunciation of citizenship of the country of residence. This is the most important topic for all political emigrants, given the ongoing war in Donbass.

One of the bills - “On Citizenship of the Russian Federation” - has already been registered in the Duma database No. 16, its goal is to provide the opportunity to obtain citizenship for children, one of whose parents or adoptive parents is a citizen of the Russian Federation.

The bills are expected to be presented on March 20 at parliamentary hearings on the problems of compatriots, where 100 delegates from around the world are expected to attend.

What can prevent laws from being passed? Liberals of the Chubais-Gaidar type can stage an obstruction under the pretext of monstrous burdens on the Pension Fund and social services.

25 years ago, by the will of a handful of adventurers and traitors, the united Russian people of the USSR suddenly became split. More than 20 million Russian people, who gave all their strength, love and knowledge to the national republics, found themselves in a hostile environment. Having awakened from deep hibernation, the “Svidomo” reptilians of all stripes and colors, guided by the formula “divide and conquer” as ancient as the world, pointed out to the suddenly aggravated “titular nation” those who are guilty “for the centuries-old oppression”: the Russians. Russians in the fallen national outskirts had to either assimilate, or become outcasts, or obediently work for the money, remain silent and not show up.

The problem of ethnic and cultural Russian compatriots remaining abroad has not yet been resolved. Everything that has been done over the past 25 years in this direction is half measures.

“Cultural Russians” mean people of other nationalities for whom the Russian language, culture, common history, and connection with Russia are inseparable. To push these people away from Russia and Russians is not only stupid, but also criminal. By accepting them, the Russian people are enriched by their culture, their talents, and become a super-ethnic group, without shrinking to the size and level of a degraded farmstead.

The picture is absolutely wild: millions of people love Russia, they rejoice and grieve with it, for them Russia is the light in the window, but they themselves do not have support from Russia, are not protected by it in any way, their potential is not in demand, and they can return to Russia almost like a bird.

The problem of overcoming injustice is long overdue, and with the outbreak of the war in Donbass and the repressions unleashed by Bandera in Ukraine against people who stubbornly resist assimilation, it has even become overripe. More than 3 million people moved to Russia from the former Ukraine alone, and this is not without taking into account the migrant workers.

The situation with Russians returning to their homeland sometimes reaches the point of absurdity. Ethnic and cultural Russians hiding on Russian territory from war and repression cannot obtain refugee status.

At the same time, against the background of Russian refugees, various diasporas feel great and do not experience discomfort. No, if people live according to the law and pay taxes, then let them continue to live in peace. But many came to Russia not because they ran away from the war or could not live without Russia. The overwhelming majority are the same “workers”. And these are no longer Soviet people, for whom the friendship of peoples, common troubles and victories are not an empty phrase. It must be remembered that in their sunny republics the Russian population is squeezed out of business, politics and other important areas of activity.

If Russian people, due to some circumstances, cannot return to Russia, they should still feel the constant care and attention of Russia and have a Russian passport as a means of protection and a ticket to return to their greater Motherland at any time convenient for them.

It is high time for Russia to take on board the example of Germany and Israel. Germany has been providing Volksdeutsche citizenship without any red tape for a very long time (when being a German was not only unprestigious, but also dangerous). Israel, during the period of interethnic wars of the 90s on the territory of the former USSR, organized the emergency repatriation of Jews. During the war in Abkhazia, for example, Israeli military transport aircraft removed all Abkhaz Jews from the conflict zones.

This practice is worthy of respect and borrowing. After all, why are Russians from the neighboring countries worse than Jews or ethnic Germans? And, especially since they are worse than foreign movie stars with football “legionnaires” who instantly receive Russian citizenship.

If 2014 became the year of gathering Russian territories, then why 2017 will not be the year of gathering Russian people? After all, people and territories, artificially torn apart 25 years ago by traitors, strive to merge with Russia, with the Motherland, like droplets of mercury.

Why is the unification of Germany and the Germans good, but the unification of Russia and Russians is certainly “imperial ambitions”, “an attempt to return to a totalitarian state” and other degenerate chatter?
