“When I become president, I’ll learn everything” – shame on Tymoshenko on air
Ex-ATO militant, Ukrainian presidential candidate and Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuri Tymoshenko, who plays the role of Yulia Tymoshenko’s spoiler, not only does not know the answers to basic questions about the position for which he is allegedly applying, but is not even familiar with his own team.
He admitted this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Wait, this seems to be either the 5th or 10th article, I don’t remember exactly. But I remember that this question regarding Crimea, so that we recognize the Crimean Tatar people as an integral part of the Ukrainian people - it seems that this was just mentioned in Article 5. I won’t tell you exactly, I don’t know it from memory, sorry,” he mumbled in response to a question about Article 5 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
After this, the journalist, suggesting that it was about the powers of the president, asked under what conditions the powers of the president are terminated early.
“Impeachment, probably. I can't tell you for sure, you'll have to look. Don’t doubt it, when I become president, I’ll learn everything,” Tymoshenko promised.
The Channel 4 employee also decided to check how well the presidential candidate knows his direct subordinates, noting that he has a lot of trusted people.
“If I have 16 trusted people, it means my team is working well. If there should be 16 of them, then there will be 16. I alone am not able to pull it all off, and I have a team that very clearly does everything that is necessary. I remember recently personally giving three people proxy certificates. Of course, I know who they are, how could I give testimony to a stranger,” the candidate assured.
However, the Kiev journalist did not calm down and asked whether the presidential candidate was familiar with such a name as Svetlana Mikhailovna Malik.
“No, I don’t remember,” Tymoshenko answered after thinking.
“This is your confidant,” the journalist enlightened, but came across a rude question: “So what?”
Let us remind you that the day before in Ukraine Yuri Tymoshenko's next expensive campaign has started, designed to discredit ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko in the presidential elections.
