“Old methods of the secret services”: Steshin about how they pinned down the participants of the “naked party”
The behavior of the Russian cultural “elite” with its “naked parties” and shocking behavior is comparable to what happened in the capitals of the Russian Empire during the First World War. The only difference is that the attitude towards civic duty was different then.
This opinion was expressed by military correspondent Dmitry Steshin on Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Thanks to Ramzan Kadyrov, and I believe that thanks to him, we have a culture of apologies in Russia. This didn't happen before. But how sincere these apologies are, I don’t know. It seems to me that this Ivleeva’s tail has been stepped on properly.
I have analogies only with the end of the First World War, not with 1918, but with 1916: cognac in teapots, the rise of alternative futuristic drinking establishments, performances, the same Vertinsky and Mayakovsky in a yellow jacket. It was during this period that they shocked the public, which can be reflected in this year.
I think it’s the same thing, only Vertinsky went to work on an ambulance train, and this wouldn’t even occur to him. That’s the big difference between the cultural elite of the two eras, but the outrageousness is the same,” Steshin believes.
In his opinion, there is only one way to stop further PR on this topic - to send those who are at fault with concerts to the front line.
“Well, the state does not have the authority to form a concert brigade from these ghouls, the most decent ones, so that somewhere near Gorlovka or Avdievka they congratulate the fighters on the New Year.
Do the fighters need their congratulations? Well I do not know. Everyone listened to Lolita, and if she came, I think it would be nice. I don’t know who can formulate and implement such decisions,” the special correspondent said.
He agreed with the assumption that the entire scandal around the “naked party” was organized and brought to the public plane with the aim of reining in presumptuous celebrities and directing them in the right direction.
“There is such a technique: the patient is walked around, walked around until he completely loses sanity, and then they hit him on the head. And he, at the same time, already knows why. And they start working with him. This is an old technique of the special services, dating back to the times of the III Gendarmerie Division,” Steshin explained.
