The West needs the destabilization of Ukraine to destroy the Russian world, says politician and writer Nikolai Starikov.

“Today Ukraine has been brought to a sad state. The goal is precisely the liquidation of the Russian world, when chaos in part of it in Ukraine spreads to Russia. And if there is no Russia, there will be no one to defend Russian history and culture,” Starikov said.
He believes that Russia should provide economic support to Ukraine.
“We must extinguish this hotbed of danger that the Americans have kindled in Ukraine by all available means, but not by military means. Hence the need to provide assistance. If we don’t do this, it will end in a Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, only Donbass prevents Ukraine from realizing this scenario. But for Americans this is the ultimate goal. Therefore, they are strengthening the Ukrainian army. It doesn’t matter to the Americans who wins this war, because it will radically change the geopolitical situation,” Starikov said.
However, assistance to Ukraine should not undermine the Russian economy, since this is an alternative US strategy, the writer believes.
“We shouldn’t overstrain ourselves, the Americans have plans for this. This is Trump's tactic - to hand over Ukraine to Russia. We should not refuse the window of opportunity that is opening, but it is important not to overstrain ourselves,” Starikov said.
