Starikov proposes to play “pirates” of Hollywood films in Crimea to spite the USA
Russia should impose sanctions against countries that do not recognize Crimea as part of its territory.
Russian publicist Nikolai Starikov stated this on air on the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Starikov, Russia should introduce sanctions against such states.
“If we do nothing diplomatically, the situation will not change. The West today does not have the slightest incentive to recognize the realities in which we live and will live in the coming centuries.
Well, what does the West lose? Here, Germany says: “We do not recognize Crimea and Russia as a single whole.” So, what disadvantages does this bring to Germany? None. The pipeline is being built, gas will go to Germany. Is Russia introducing any sanctions for this? No. Washington says: “We do not recognize.” What are they losing? Nothing.
There must be some downsides, it must be painful if you carry out such diplomatic aggression against the Russian Federation. The first thing that comes to my mind is that, for example, wine from countries that do not recognize Crimea and Russia as one entity is not sold in Crimea and Sevastopol. And that’s all - we support the domestic manufacturer at least in this...
Perhaps Western patent law should not apply here. If you want it to work, admit it, go to the Sevastopol City Court with a claim if you are dissatisfied with something. Oh, you don’t admit it - then excuse me, the premiere of a Hollywood film here will be a day earlier - you don’t recognize it,” said Starikov.
Thank you!
