Starikov called on the State Duma not to recognize the Ukrainian elections because Boyko lost
There is no difference between Vladimir Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko - they are both under Western control.
This opinion was stated by Russian publicist Nikolai Starikov on the Rossiya 24 TV channel, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It seems to me that having the illusion that Zelensky will greatly change the situation is deeply mistaken. In fact, for Russia there is no difference whether Poroshenko or Zelensky are two people in the same direction, the left and right hands of one large organism. They have political schizophrenia there, and therefore sometimes the left hand fights with the right, but this has nothing to do with external objects.
Moreover, I would like to draw attention to the fact that if Zelensky wins, the general situation in Ukraine will become more unpredictable and chaotic, because there will be a president who, in a parliamentary-presidential republic, does not have his own political force in parliament, and there will be no political force for six months, elections will only be in November.
A weak president, not yet clear to anyone, he will have some period of coming into power. They will try to play with him, they will try to intimidate him. The same Americans will come and say: “Congratulations, now do what we say.” And in this situation, I don’t see very many trump cards that he could play in order to start some kind of independent game. In my opinion, he doesn’t have these trump cards at all, so I wouldn’t pin any hopes on changing the general Ukrainian course,” he assures.
At the same time, according to Starikov, State Duma deputies should support the LDPR initiative to not recognize the results of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
“Look, everything was done so that the conditional continuers of the cause of friendship between Ukraine and Russia would not get into the second round. I mean Boyko: the votes were divided between Boyko and Vilkul. If you add them up, you will see that the sum is greater than Poroshenko’s votes.
Further, several million Ukrainians did not have the opportunity to vote in Russia. They passed a law to keep observers out.
So I believe that Russia has every reason not to recognize these elections. Moreover, the LDPR faction has already introduced such a bill. So, using the broadcast, I would like to address the deputies of other factions: Dear deputies, we are waiting for your courageous, masculine political decision,” Starikov concluded.
Thank you!
