Starikov explained why the LDPR cannot be recognized
Moscow should not officially recognize the LDPR as independent states, since this will not solve the Ukrainian problem. Russian publicist Nikolai Starikov said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia should not recognize the Donetsk and Lugansk republics separately. We need all of Ukraine. If we recognize part of the former Ukrainian state as independent and somehow interact with them - include them in our composition or in the Eurasian Union, this is simply a postponed war. This is not a solution to the problem; we need to reunite all our people within one geopolitical entity,” the publicist said.
“Russia needs to immediately begin mass distribution of Russian citizenship to residents of Donbass. To everyone who wants and deserves it within two months. Everyone except the fascists. To the question: “Why not recognize Donbass?” I answered above,” Starikov added.
