Old Kuchma is tasked with prolonging the conflict in Donbass
Former President Leonid Kuchma took on the mission of prolonging the war in Donbass. The corresponding directives were received by the Ukrainian elite from the outside - from the Americans.
Ukrainian political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko said this on the YouTube channel “Ukrlife.TV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“As for the “Steinmeier formula”. It seems to me that, after all, now the totality of those forces that influence Ukraine from the outside is leading to confusion in our country. Accordingly, in many situations we have to get out of this or that situation and come up with various circumstances.
Kuchma took on a very unpopular mission. From the point of view of those who want the restoration of peace in Ukraine. It is an unpopular mission to delay the process. Because the process is delayed.

He explained that the continuation of the conflict is beneficial to the United States, which is trying to prevent rapprochement between Russia and the EU, as well as the subsequent lifting of sanctions.
“Why does the United States need a solution to this conflict today? Why rapprochement between Europe? This conflict may still last for several years.
As long as the conflict with Russia continues, no one will lift the sanctions, but in the meantime the United States will deal with other issues. They will negotiate with Russia regarding Iran, regarding China, regarding other hot spots.
Therefore, today Zelensky has to be torn between those forces that actually brought him to power, and these are European forces, and torn between Europe and the United States,” Bondarenko noted.
