Statistics: every third hospital in Ukraine has disappeared in five years

In Ukraine in 2015, the number of hospital institutions was 1,8 thousand, which is 35,8% less than in 2010.

The State Statistics Service reports this.

The number of hospital beds has also decreased over 5 years.

Thus, in 2015, there were 332 thousand hospital beds in Ukraine, which is 97 thousand less than in 2010.

At the same time, in 2015 there were 1 beds per 7,8 thousand population, while in 2010 there were 1 beds per 9,4 thousand population.
