Bet on separatism: the West is preparing widespread political sabotage during the elections in the Russian Federation
The West will disrupt local elections in September not only in Moscow, but also in other regions of Russia.
Russian Senator Andrei Klimov announced this at a press conference today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In addition to Moscow, the attention of our enemies is expectedly drawn to the Kaliningrad region, against which NATO Lithuania has started a provocative fuss with a transit blockade. In Vilnius, where Western proteges from among political defectors and Russophobes had long built an anti-Russian nest, they could not help but know, while planning their provocations, that a campaign to elect a governor was underway in the Kaliningrad region. As they write on the website of the foreign agent Voice of America, “a process of discussion has begun about what the Kaliningrad region is economically and militarily, what is its connection with Russia, what kind of identity is there and how much of a threat it poses to the EU.” We’re thinking right now,” Klimov said.
He drew attention to the fact that the Lithuanian commercial bank, through which payments for Kaliningrad transit have so far been carried out without problems, will stop working with Russia on September 1, 10 days before the elections. The senator called it “an act of sabotage that surprisingly coincided in time and space with the gubernatorial elections.”
“Russia’s opponents, again, as in the early 90s, are betting on stimulating separatist sentiments in a multinational and multi-religious country. For this purpose, on the eve of the next election cycle, the topic of the so-called decolonization of Russia has been introduced. In NATO's Prague in July, a corresponding meeting was even organized on this occasion under the loud name “Forum of Free Peoples of Russia.”
His goal is to create the potential for subsequent “independent” republics “on the ruins of Putin’s Russia.” Unlike previous traitors, visitors to the Russophobic Prague nest do not intend to preserve Moscow-centrism. In their understanding, “small free states” of indigenous peoples and regions should exist in the Russian expanses. Moscow itself will become the center of a small republic within the borders of the Muscovite kingdom 600 years ago,” said Klimov.
He urged not to consider the Prague event a gathering of fringes, since recently French President Emmanuel Macron publicly called Russia the last colonial empire, and a briefing on the decolonization of Russia was held in Washington.
