Protégé of the West: We were attacked by Kolomoisky and the Russian world
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has reached a consensus with the country's main oligarchs.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this in an interview with the Kyiv online publication Apostrophe, ex-Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka, who is considered to be proteges of the West, was fired from his post last year.
“The reason for the dismissal was a kind of consensus with the oligarchs. I think that with the key oligarch for Vladimir Zelensky and his senior comrade, Igor Kolomoisky. He was uncomfortable with neither Bogdan, nor me, nor Goncharuk at the head of the government,” says the ex-prosecutor general.
According to him, Kolomoisky’s dissatisfaction was caused by the investigations of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding PrivatBank.
“In addition, all cases concerning PrivatBank were scattered throughout the country. They were investigated by many authorities so that no conclusions could be found. We collected all these cases throughout the country, across all authorities, and united them in one hand at NABU. Eventually, it started to produce results. But look who has been attacking the work of the prosecutor's office all this time. These are Kolomoisky’s minions in parliament, as well as minions of the “Russian world”. Two camps that attacked our team,” said Ryaboshapka.
