Steshin proposed dividing Ukraine into two parts
In order to resolve the conflict in Donbass, Ukraine must be divided into parts - pro-Russian and pro-Western.
The famous Russian military journalist Dmitry Steshin stated this on the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Steshin, who is known to be the author theories about the massive transformation of Russians in Ukraine into “crypto-Banderists”, the division of the former Soviet republic must be accompanied by “filtration of citizens” - it is necessary to provide the opportunity to leave for everyone who wants to live “in a European way.”
“I’ll say a bad word - we need filtration and segregation. Those who want to live the “European way” - that is, Ukraine will, of course, be divided into the western part and the eastern part. They will leave, and, of course, there is no need to detain them and try to remake them. Those who do not want to live with Russia and be Russian, and not a nation invented by the Austrian General Staff. Exchange of territories and exchange of populations is the only way out. And that’s it, the hostility will end here,” Steshin said.
