Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin spoke about this at the press conference “Donbass - the forward front of the Russian world” held in Donetsk.
“The number of people in world culture who are well versed in the situation in Donbass is growing. Steven Seagal recently received a passport. We'll try to get him here. On the front line, he definitely won’t be surprised by anything, because he’s a real man. It's no secret that I am friends with Emir Kusturica. When we last met with him in Belgrade, negotiations about the possibility of his coming to Donbass lasted about three seconds. I asked: “Emir, will you come?” He replied: “Of course!” Oliver Stone and Emir Kusturica are among the world's top 10 directors. And when these two arrive, we will be able to confidently say that not only Russian culture and literature are with us, but also world cinema at a minimum,” the writer emphasized.
Prilepin also recalled that American actor Mickey Rourke constantly wears a T-shirt with the image of the President of the Russian Federation, and therefore “you can also bring him here,” since his position is clear.
“Based on the above, you won’t believe how many famous and prominent personalities will be in Donetsk in the near future,” added the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko.
