Moscow - Simferopol, April 09 (Navigator, Mikhail Stamm) - By May 1, oil products should fall in price by 30%, said the First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Temirgaliev. To do this, fuel from the Russian Federation, which will no longer be subject to export duties, must replace what was imported to the peninsula before its annexation.

The average retail price of AI-95 gasoline in Crimea is 52 rubles. for 1 liter, diesel fuel - 49 rubles. At gas stations in the neighboring Krasnodar Territory, gasoline cost an average of 35 rubles in early April. for 1 liter, diesel fuel - 32 rubles, Kommersant reports. At the same time, gas station operators, Mr. Temirgaliev emphasized, must become Russian legal entities and pay taxes to the regional budget.

Crimea, which does not have its own refineries, has traditionally received petroleum products from Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania through seaports and by rail. Fuel consumption on the peninsula is 200 thousand tons of gasoline and about 800 thousand tons of diesel per year - this is 0,5% and 1% of their production volumes in the Russian Federation.

Commercial director of the largest Crimean gas station operator TPP (56 gas stations), Anton Raskin, believes that local companies will not have time to completely switch to Russian prices in a month due to logistics problems that lead to an increase in the cost of petroleum products (the company transports fuel in small volumes from Krasnodar by rail ).

For Crimean operators, the lending process is difficult, since it is no longer possible to attract loans from Ukrainian banks, and Russian ones have not yet really started servicing in the region. “For this reason, we cannot order a tanker from Russia, which would be cheaper per 1 ton of product,” explains Raskin.
