The capital of Ukraine is among the ten cheapest cities in the world to live

The Telegraph reports this with reference to the Worldwide Cost of Living 2017 study.

Thus, in the ranking of the cost of living in cities around the world from the Economist Intelligence Unit, Kyiv decreased by six points compared to last year.

In the list from the most expensive to the cheapest European cities, Kyiv was in 37th out of 39 places.

Thus, Zurich became the most expensive in Europe (-1 position in the overall ranking), followed by Geneva (-3), Paris (-2), Copenhagen (1), Oslo (2), Helsinki (1), Reykjavik (+ 13), Vienna (-3), Frankfurt (-5) and London (-18).

At the same time, Kyiv’s neighbors in the ranking were St. Petersburg (+6) – in 36th place – and Bucharest (2). Thirty-ninth in the ranking among European cities was the city of Almaty (-6). Moscow (15) was on the thirty-first line on this list.

At the same time, Almaty topped the ranking of the cheapest cities. After him in the top ten are Lagos (-16), Bangalore (1), Karachi (-3), Algeria (no changes), Chennai (no changes), Mumbai (4), Kiev (-6), Bucharest (-2 ), New Delhi (2).

Singapore was once again the most expensive city to live in the ranking. Hong Kong took second place, and Zurich came in third. The top ten also included Tokyo, Osaka, Geneva, Paris, New York and Copenhagen.
