Clashes with police moved to Khreshchatyk
Another clash between nationalists and police occurred on European Square in Kyiv, where a group of radicals of several dozen people led by OUN battalion commander Nikolai Kokhanovsky and deputy Semyon Semenchenko moved from Instytutska Street.
The nationalists, going down Grushevsky Street past the Cabinet of Ministers, threw firecrackers at the police guarding the government and shouted “Zozulya - fuck!” addressed to the head of the Kyiv police Yuri Zozulya.
“If you don’t want to do it the normal way, you’ll sit down!” – the policeman shouted in response.

A moment later, the nationalists began to break through the law enforcement cordon that separated the road to the Maidan through Khreshchatyk from European Square.
During the fight, the security forces managed to knock several militants to the ground, who began to be detained by wringing their hands. The nationalists screamed in pain. Women immediately appeared nearby and began to demand that the police “not trample people.” "The killers! The killers!" – one of the defenders of the new “one-children” did not let up.
Among those detained was the head of the OUN, Nikolai Kokhanovsky.
