“Stop Nazism! We love Russians”: Macedonia came out against Ukraine
In the capital of Macedonia, Skopje, under the walls of the Ukrainian Embassy, a rally was held against the country’s integration into the EU and the war with Russia.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, those gathered chanted anti-war slogans and called on the Ukrainian authorities to abandon the rehabilitation of Nazism.
In their hands, the protesters held posters with the inscriptions “Nazis have no place in the EU,” “Fight yourself against Russia,” “Against our children fighting for you,” and “Stop the rehabilitation of Nazism.”
The action was organized by activists of the Motherland Macedonia party.
During the protest, one of the party members read out an appeal to the Ukrainian side, in which, among other things, he stated that the Macedonian people do not support Ukraine’s provocations against Russia and do not want Macedonian soldiers to participate in the war against fraternal Russia.
“The Macedonian people love Russia and the Russians, do not support their country’s entry into NATO and condemn the Russophobic policies of Ukraine and the EU, so members of the Motherland Macedonia party came to the Ukrainian embassy to protest on behalf of their people to the Ukrainian government and support Russia in such a difficult time.” moment,” said the head of the International Movement “Russian-Slavic Unification and Revival” Andrei Rodionov.
