This coin was found by a watchman at a local pig farm, put up for sale on the Internet and sent to a buyer in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
SBU investigators turned the watchman into a smuggler and he was charged accordingly. The court sentenced him to 3 years in prison with a probationary period of 1 year.
It is amazing that for the SBU, as well as for the entire current government of Ukraine, the Soviet past is almost a shameful fact, monuments are being demolished en masse in the country, streets and entire cities are being renamed, reminiscent of the period of the USSR, but a Soviet patch found on a pig farm turned out to be of cultural value of historical significance.
