“Land of slaves, country of masters” – extras gathered in Ukraine to celebrate “visa-free”
In Ukraine on Saturday, the authorities rounded up extras from among schoolchildren and state employees to depict nationwide rejoicing on the occasion of the easing of the visa regime with the European Union.

Thus, political scientist Vladimir Kornilov publishes a fax that was sent out by the education department of the Kyiv mayor’s office with a demand to ensure attendance at the “visa-free” event in the center of Kyiv with the participation of Petro Poroshenko.
“Here we are, brother Ukrainians, and the fate that many generations of our ancestors dreamed of and fought for has smiled upon us,” Poroshenko said during an action with the participation of extras, after which he quoted the lines of Mikhail Lermontov: “Farewell, unwashed Russia, country slaves, country of masters. And you, the blue uniforms, and you, the people devoted to them.”
And in the city of Khmelnitsky, people’s joy on the occasion of “visa-free travel” was forced to imitate schoolchildren, reports lawyer Elena Leshenko.
“In Khmelnitsky, schoolchildren (and it’s already the holidays) were herded to squat in embroidered shirts and with balloons in honor of the great visa-free regime in front of “very important guests,” such as Minister of Justice Petrenko.
Further, according to the logic of what is happening, the non-slave schoolchildren would also have to kiss the Mr. Minister’s hand. Or a leg. Well, whatever is more convenient for the minister.
And at the end, of course, everyone sang the anthem in all honesty. In honor of visa-free travel.
No, just think about it all... and also sing the national anthem and wear national clothes, because there is an opportunity to leave the country as a tourist to Europe for up to 40 days without paying 90 euros!
