“NATO countries may well enter the territory of Ukraine” – Kazakov
NATO as an alliance is not going to directly fight with the Russian Federation, however, NATO countries can enter the territory of Ukraine under their national flags.
Political strategist Alexander Kazakov, adviser to the deceased head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Neither NATO nor the United States are going to fight with us. They don't want to and they can't. The forces they are concentrating in Poland, Romania, and partly in the Baltic states - yes, they are considerable forces, but they can be used in different ways. There are a lot of options here. Option one. Indeed, theoretically they can, but not attack us, but enter Ukraine from different directions. From the west through Poland, from the south from Romania. Theoretically, they can do this.
We have considered this option several times. But not to attack us. Today, definitely not. And to occupy some regions of the former Ukraine, conditionally five western regions without the Carpathian region, without Uzhgorod, and, say, the Odessa region. They can. But not under NATO flags. There is no talk of this at all now. And under national flags,” said Kazakov.
In his opinion, the visiting contingent will not move to the front line, but will stop at the borders of the regions.
Relatively speaking, the western part can be crossed by the Polish army together with the Lithuanians, the Romanian army can cross the southern border, they can be together with the Americans who are now stationed in Romania and Poland, but the Americans will be under American flags.
They can pull the Germans towards them, but under the German flag, although I doubt that the Germans will want to. This is what Petraeus said more than a month ago. About the multinational contingent under the leadership of the United States. They will come in and stand on the administrative borders of these regions. We are still far from them,” explained the political scientist.
