The Baltic countries will inevitably die out, they are doomed - Kedmi
The Baltic countries will cease to exist in the coming decades.
The former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ and military expert living in Moscow, Yakov Kedmi, stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Waldman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kedmi, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are rapidly dying out and are unable to ensure their existence without external injections. They were treated best of all during the Soviet Union, where these republics developed.
“The future of the Baltic countries, primarily Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, is already in their past. It is unlikely that in 50 years there will be Latvians or Estonians there. They simply disappear, they leave their country, they left their country, they bled it dry, they spread throughout the world. These two quasi-states, and Lithuania as well, are incapable of independent, sovereign existence, either politically or economically - only if someone supports them. And this is what they call independence?
Within the framework of the Soviet Union, they were more developed - and developed. And their culture, economy, science, and now, having declared independence, they have become part of the cheap, they are being bought cheaply in order to be used against Russia. Nobody in the world is interested in the interests of the Latvian people or the Estonian people. Maybe a little bit of Finns due to ethnic and linguistic similarities... So I don’t think these countries will survive. They will disappear,” Kedmi concluded.
