It’s scary to imagine Ukraine when we win the war - political scientist Chaplyga
Ukraine will not be able to end the confrontation with Russia on its own terms. At best, it will “win the war but lose the peace.”
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga made these arguments on the Internet channel “Yes, it is so,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Chaplyga, even if Ukraine wins, hundreds of thousands of combatants will have nowhere to return, nowhere to settle and nowhere to get money.
“We all understand perfectly well that they are hinting to us that every war always ends in negotiations. Always. After the battlefield, instead of the battlefield - it doesn’t matter, there are always negotiations. Negotiations, the textbook says, always take place on current terms. I don’t need to talk about any other conditions. Negotiations are always, by definition, on current terms. When you decide what and how to talk about... I'll tell you honestly - we will win the war, I believe in that. But I feel that we will lose the world.
For whom then will we win the war, my friend, eh?.. But we will win the war, and peace, who will win the peace? Okay, I’ll tell you one more answer to the question, the most important one is what I’m scaring everyone with. My friends, when the war ends and hundreds of thousands of people return - where? There is no work, essentially no profession. There will be no more payments to them either. What should I do?” Chaplyga suffered.
Thank you!
