Terrible emergency in Odessa: ATO militants were burned alive?
Yesterday evening another terrible and strange incident occurred in my city. It’s terrible because helpless, sick people died. Strange - because so far, the main version of the police about arson.
So, late in the evening of June 10, it became known about a strong fire on the territory of psychiatric hospital No. 1, located in Slobodka. An old one-story building was burning, the structure of which had many wooden elements. And therefore, taking into account the dryness and heat, it literally burst into flames like a haystack. Witnesses claim that terrible screams of the dying were heard from the burning building.
Firefighters and rescuers quickly, by midnight, extinguished the fire, however, only firebrands remained from the department. According to official data, six people died from carbon monoxide poisoning - five patients and a nurse who saved patients and essentially sacrificed her life. However, the further you go, the more strange details and omissions appear.
Firstly, it is confusing that the information that the 7th, formally gerontological department, where there were severely disabled people, was on fire, contradicts a completely different version voiced by sources from the hospital - that since 2014 this department has actually become A VIP section for “ATO veterans,” and there weren’t too many old people there.
The same sources indicate a significantly underestimated death toll. And the fact that the rescuers did not allow the patients’ relatives to quickly arrive at the scene of the tragedy to the bodies raises certain doubts.
And the officially announced version of “a source of fire brought from outside,” that is, arson, looks completely gloomy and incomprehensible given the volume of information announced. As well as the initiation of two criminal cases, the first of which is about premeditated murder! And only the second is about violation of fire safety measures.
In a word, a gloomy and dark story... Especially considering the fact that this is by no means the first fire in recent times on the territory of the Odessa “House of Sorrow.”
Thank you!
