A terrible hurricane in Lugansk uprooted trees in the city center
Yesterday and today a hurricane and a terrible downpour swept through Lugansk. A storm warning was announced in the city. The hurricane lasted only a few minutes, but damaged trees, communications and power lines in the city center.

Rain and squally winds began in the city at about 15.00. As a result of the hurricane, at least five trees were uprooted on Sovetskaya Street near the building of the former SBU department and in Memory Square, and about 15 more were severely damaged. A public transport stop was also partially damaged and a power line was downed.
The city's utility services are already working to eliminate the consequences of the hurricane.
In turn, the LPR Ministry of Ecology noted that uprooted trees can be saved.
