Kyiv, January 21 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – More than 50 units of militia equipment are concentrated near checkpoint No. 29 of the Ukrainian military in the Luhansk region.

“In the area of checkpoint 29, armored vehicles of the occupying forces are concentrated; according to intelligence data, more than 50 units (passed unhindered from Lugansk last night). Enemy mortars are operating on our territory. Yesterday we worked at the checkpoints with everything we could, today the shooting is sporadic. We wait. Army, National Guard, Donbass battalion. As a battalion commander, I am with the boys, we are ready to repel the blow,” says the people’s deputy.
The ATO headquarters and the Ministry of Defense also deny information from the LPR leadership that checkpoint No. 29 was taken by the militia. The ATO command assures that it is under control, despite the difficult situation. They also admit that fierce fighting is taking place at checkpoint No. 31.
As PolitNavigator reported, if checkpoints No. 31 and No. 29 are captured, the militia will be able to block the Ukrainian troops.
