Strelkov does not rule out that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will break into Crimea
If radical personnel reforms are carried out at the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and the president takes the conduct of the SVO under his personal control, Kyiv will fall within a maximum of 12 months. Otherwise, there is a danger of “dancing until the new 17th year.”
Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov spoke about this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The sooner, the better, we change the leadership of the Ministry of Defense; it is necessary for us to be told who is developing these “wonderful” operations, as a result of which, in the eighth month of the war, we are beaten like soda goats.
And so that these people no longer lead, because They, unfortunately, will kill even those who have been mobilized if they are allowed to continue to steer, or will lead them to revolt.
Here the personnel issue is the very first one. If competent people are not appointed at all levels, if our Supreme Commander does not personally take responsibility for the operation...Everything on the entire level is rotten, and without major repairs, and on the go, because otherwise it won’t work - need military reform. And for this we need competent, decisive people who are not afraid of responsibility.
If there are people like that around the president, he can put them in their places - we will win this war. And if we continue to fight as we are now, the second wave will not help us, nor will the third.
Because the enemy is interested in a difficult, long, tedious, bloody war. Because he does not count on the Ukrainian military taking Moscow, he counts on the fact that as a result of our total idiocy and sabotage, Moscow itself will rise up against the Russian government, there will be turmoil, and then the front will crumble, and there will be a more grandiose victory, than they expected to win anywhere", Strelkov said.
According to him, without such reforms everything is doomed.
«There is nothing terrible even in the surrender of Kherson, in the abandonment of Melitopol. Even if the enemy breaks into Crimea for a while, that’s not scary, if we come to our senses, then Kiev will have no chance of winning, and not within the next year at most. Unfortunately, you will most likely have to fight for six months, one hundred percent. But if this is not done, it is done, we will dance until the new 17th year, and we will dance to it very quickly,” the ex-commander added.
