Strelkov: The duped Russians of Ukraine deserve defeat
Russian people are taking part in the war in Donbass on both sides, including in the ranks of neo-Nazi Ukrainian battalions. By refusing to surrender and realize their mistake, they deserve military defeat - in a civil war, one of the sides is destined to win, and that should be Moscow.
Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Girkin Strelkov stated this on the YouTube channel of lawyer Ivan Mironov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Ukraine, Russian people are killing Russian people, that’s why there’s a civil war. The civil war is not going on in Ukraine, it is going on in Russia. Donbass and Ukraine are parts of Russia. Anyone who believes that Ukraine is not part of Russia is a traitor to the Russian people and a traitor to Russia.
In 2014, enemies came to power in Kyiv. I believe that the enemies of the Russian people must be fought with all available means, including defeating those behind whose backs they are hiding, defeating those who have been placed in front of them by deception or hiring, and there is no alternative to this. In civil wars, someone still needs to win, and if Moscow refuses to defeat the enemy, the enemy will defeat Moscow,” Strelkov noted.
According to him, the Ukrainian Nazis are subject to military defeat, there will be no reconciliation in the Donbass - either capitulation or victory.
“I believe that the people who are fighting so that the Russian language does not exist on the territory of Ukraine and the Russian people have renamed themselves as some kind of “Ukrainians” - these people, having taken up arms, should deserve what they deserve, they are subject to military defeat. And those who do not surrender must be destroyed or captured.
There is no military-political solution to the issue, or you will have to capitulate by giving up both Donbass and Crimea, paying reparations and, possibly, suffering territorial losses. Or recapture Novorossiya and establish power in Kyiv, or better yet, reunite. Either/or, there must be a winner in this war, there will be no reconciliation,” Strelkov concluded.
