Strelkov accused the DPR vice-speaker of betrayal
Kiev
The statement by Deputy Speaker of the DPR Parliament Denis Pushilin about consent to autonomy within Ukraine is insulting to the people of Donbass, who voted for the independence of the region a year ago and the militia who laid down their lives to achieve the independence of the republic.
The former leader of the Donbass militia, Igor Strelkov, stated this on Neuromir TV.

“This statement may, to put it mildly, be incorrect in relation to the people of the DPR and the militia. Due to the fact that the referendum held a year ago did not talk about any autonomy - it called for, and people voted for the independence of the republic. A year after a difficult war, it is quite insulting for Pushilin to declare consent to autonomy without asking the people’s opinion,” Strelkov said.
Earlier, DPR government consultant Roman Manekin said that Pushilin’s opinion is not shared by the head of the republic, Alexander Zakharchenko.
