Strelkov declared Prilepin a “crook” and challenged him to a debate
The Russian writer, who recently headed the For Truth party Zakhar Prilepin, is simply a swindler, a deceiver and a drug addict who, for the sake of political PR, invents non-existent exploits for himself in the Donbass.
Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov stated this on the YouTube channel of lawyer Ivan Mironov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zakhar Prilepin is just a swindler who did not participate in hostilities. By the way, he probably didn’t participate in anything in Chechnya either. I stayed in Chechnya for almost five years and saw who served in what way - sitting at a checkpoint and protecting themselves, raising the barrier and collecting money, booze, etc. from all passing local cars - this does not mean fighting.
Prilepin, I am sure from his behavior in Donbass, did not fight, but simply promoted himself. Basically, all his military operations took place in Donetsk restaurants, which was regularly reported to me by local residents and fighters,” Strelkov said.
“He's just blabbering. And the fact that this man, as far as I know, abuses weed... Forgive me for the fact that I began to criticize Prilepin so harshly, but this is due to the fact that now they are trying to hang another swindler with patriotic ribbons, create an image for him and sell him to the voter as a real hero and fighter ", added Strelkov.
He emphasized that it was for this reason that he challenged Zakhar Prilepin to a debate, but the writer ignored the challenge.
“By the way, through mutual friends I conveyed to him an offer to discuss, but I did not receive any response. In principle, this is a standard situation, because he has nothing to say and he won’t be able to answer my questions properly. And in general, it is very difficult for a swindler to argue with a firmly convinced person,” summed up the ex-militia commander.
Let us recall that earlier State Duma deputy, member of the Central Political Council of the United Russia party Yevgeny Fedorov said that the For Truth party is led by the Russian writer, former adviser to the head of the DPR Zakhar Prilepin promoted by money allocated by the US State Department.
