Russian liberals are already well prepared to seize power in Russia in the event of cataclysms in the country's top leadership, for example, when there is a change of president. Russian patriotic forces, on the contrary, are deprived of the necessary resources and can be “rolled into the mud” if a period of instability begins.
The former commander of the Donetsk militia, Igor Strelkov, stated this on the air of the Rozanov Club Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we, Russian patriots, and not only nationalists, but specifically patriots of our country, cannot reach a certain consensus, cannot create structure and strength, then they will drive past us, splashing us with mud, and we will only grunt. In the best case, if we are not crushed, but, most likely, we will be crushed.
Let's start not with how we should act, where we should run if a power vacuum arises, but with whether we are ready for the fact that a power vacuum has arisen, and we will do something. And I’ll tell you - we’re not ready...
We are not ready at all. We have no money, no media, no organizational structures, not even a public political party, at least one.
Who has it? And liberals have it all. For one simple reason. Because a significant part of the current government are these guys, pure “Kerensky”. The same Navalny, the same Echo of Moscow, this is Gazprom. "Rain", "Medusa". They already have everything, everything is ready.
Even if it’s weak, even if the bulk of the people don’t support them, they don’t care, they don’t think about it at all. It is important for them to realize their ambitions and simply break through to power,” Strelkov said.
